Application 24/00499/FUL has been refused. Amongst the seven reasons for refusal, the key message from the Council was that the application failed to deliver design of sufficient quality to outweigh impacts on the character and appearance of the surrounding area and would cause harm to the setting of nearby heritage assets. The applicant failed to propose any contribution towards affordable housing, proposed an unacceptable dwelling mix and would damage the amenity of neighbouring residential properties.
