Midos Group was successful with planning appeal 3349871 against refusal of application 24/00192/FUL on 19/12/2024: • Approval took 47 weeks from validation. • It is currently a church and two former industrial buildings in uses ancillary to the church. • The new scheme will include two apartment blocks. • With a maximum height of six storeys. • There will be 80 residential units: 80 private, 0 affordable. The main issue was the reduced viability of the scheme since permission 21/00830/FUL was granted. The Inspector agreed with the Appellant that there was a viability deficit of £3.57m and no affordable housing could be provided.
